"My
career as an artists' model lasted fifteen years.
Somewhere during the course of that oddessy, I
made a discovery about the things that we do with
the body. The way we imagine the body. The way we
interpret it. The way art reflects and changes it.
I discovered that the body is not a fixed form.
Not a sum of all parts it's a vision. Malleable,
protean, and inconstant.
My camera's lens is an unstable mirror, reflecting
of my models the most exotic and unexpected, the
models themselves drawn from an unlikely pool.
I don't know what this art thing I do is, but I
hope that what I create will stir another's mind
the way it stirs mine. I hope my audience can
share my discovery. I hope that my work can bring
somebody joy while illuminating the strangely
beautiful."
