Dan
Cortopassi is an artist currently working in the
digital medium. For his most recent works, Dan
often uses 3D computer models and the Poser
graphics application to create an image which is
used as a starting point for the finished artwork.
Dan makes many of these 3D models himself, and
offers them for sale on his website (http://www.dacort.com).
Once the initial image is made, Dan brings it into
Photoshop and adds details and a background, all
done by hand using a Wacom drawing tablet. Dan is
a resident of California, USA, and lives near San
Francisco.
